Disability Access Fund (DAF)
This is an annual one-off payment made to the nursery to support those children with special educational needs and disabilities. The funding is to allow the nursery to put into place additional care.
Criteria for a DAF payment to be made:
- Your child must be an eligible 3 or 4 year old
- You must be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
If your child is eligible you will be required to complete the Disability Access fund section on the parental declaration funding form. You will be required to provide evidence that you are in receipt of DLA, i.e. the letter of confirmation.
