Mud, Mud, Mud!

Children love to play with mud and explore not only its texture but also how it can be manipulated and used in a variety of ways to match their inquiries. Weighing, measuring, counting out scoops, molding, manipulating, talking about past experiences, and incorporating it in role-play, are all but a few ways children enjoy the use of mud in their play.

We have created a mud kitchen to support this type of learning, for those children that love to get dirty and use their hands as they play and learn.

Woodwork Area

We are really pleased now we have our all-weather woodwork area, which is fully heated so we can use it all year round.

Petting Area

We have now finished our lovely petting area. We have guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens. It’s a great way for children to learn about the world around them and care for living things.
