We are fortunate to have a wonderful forest school space that we have worked hard to develop. This provides the children with a different medium in which to learn through, offering lot’s of opportunity for ‘safe risk,’ activities, that are so fundamental in young children’s development.
Social skills, co-operation, team work, problem solving, being safe, trial and error, the natural world, using natural resources, open-learning, care and concern, are all but a few qualities a forest school offers.
